75 youth of the state will participate in the National Youth Festival

Raipur 8 January 2025: Wishing the youth participating in the National Youth Festival for their excellent performance, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that along with fulfilling the resolution of developed India, Chhattisgarh also has to be made a developed state.

It is noteworthy that the youth will make Chhattisgarh proud with their excellent and captivating performance in the National Youth Festival organized on the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. The youth of Chhattisgarh have shown their talent in the Government of India’s campaign to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision India developed before the year 2047. A total of 75 participants have been selected for the National Youth Festival to represent the state of Chhattisgarh. 75 youths of the state will be provided an opportunity to present their vision of developing India in front of the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on 11 and 12 January 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that the youth should bring laurels to Chhattisgarh by showcasing their talent in Delhi. Perform in such a way in the National Youth Festival on 11 and 12 January that “Chhattisgarhia sab le badhiya” should be on the tongue of the youth coming from other states of the country.

Sports Minister Tank Ram Verma said that youth is the power of India. The youth are being provided an opportunity to hone their talent in Chhattisgarh. 75 youths of Chhattisgarh will participate in the National Youth Festival.

It is worth noting that through the Youth Festival, the Sports and Youth Welfare Department provided a platform to more than 80 thousand youth of the state. The Youth Dialogue was held on 26 and 27 December 2024 at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Hockey Stadium in Raipur. To make India developed, building infrastructure for the future, empowering women and improving social indicators, empowering youth for developed India, increasing productivity in agriculture, making India a sporting and fit nation, making India a global manufacturing powerhouse, developing India as the startup capital of the world, taking India towards a completely sustainable future, technology for developed India, development as well as heritage, on the theme of which the first online quiz was organized for more than 3 lakh 26 thousand registered volunteers of Chhattisgarh and school and college students of the state on My Bharat portal, in which more than 80 thousand youth of the state participated. Out of 6,103 youth who qualified in the online quiz, 635 youth wrote essays on 10 themes related to making India a developed nation. Under essay writing, a maximum of 25 candidates were to be selected for the state championship in each subject. Out of this, 228 youth were selected for the state championship. The State Championship was organized by Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel International Hockey Stadium, G.E. Road, Raipur. Under this, the young participants presented their vision for developing India through PPT in front of subject experts. 12 subject experts from Chhattisgarh state evaluated the vision PPT presented by the young participants.

In the State Championship, a “Sending Off” ceremony was organized to select 45 youth from Chhattisgarh and send them to New Delhi. Apart from this, 30 participants have been selected for the National Youth Festival from folk songs, folk dances, poetry, story, painting, science fair and oratory by video viewing of the cultural performances of the winning participants from block level to district level through experts. On this occasion, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, MLAs Kiran Dev, Motilal Sahu, Indra Kumar Sahu, Anuj Sharma, Guru Khuswant Saheb, Sports Department Secretary Himshikhar Gupta and Director Mrs. Tanuja Salam along with concerned officers, employees and youth were present.
