Raipur: A group of 500 pilgrims from Raipur, led by Chhattisgarh’s revered Shadani Darbar Tirtha’s Peethadheesh and Acharya Sabha member Dr. Yudhishthir Lal Maharaj ji, left for Ganga bath in the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj on Tuesday. This year, about 40 to 45 crore Sanatani Hindu devotees from the country and abroad are expected to reach this Maha Kumbh of the century, being organized after 144 years in Prayagraj. So far, about 37 crore devotees have earned the virtue of Ganga bath in the Maha Kumbh. On the day of Mauni Amashya, Prayagraj became the biggest city in the world. On this day, about 12 crore devotees took the benefit of bathing in the holy confluence of the Ganga. The number of devotees gathered in Prayagraj on this day is twice or thrice the total population of many countries of the world. It is noteworthy that Hindu pilgrims from Pakistan’s Sindh province, whose number is about 100, are also coming to the Maha Kumbh from Sindh to take a bath in the Ganga.

Many of these pilgrims will be provided accommodation and food in the pavilion built by the Chhattisgarh government in Prayagraj. On this occasion, Minister Tank Ram Verma said that our Vishnu Dev Sai government is ready to serve the pilgrims of Chhattisgarh in Prayagraj. It is my good fortune that I am getting the opportunity to send off this pilgrimage going to the holy place Prayagraj. Dr. Yudhishthir Lal Maharaj, Peethadheesh of Pujya Shadani Darbar Tirtha, said that only that government is truly successful, which serves the religious lovers of its state. We are happy that the Vishnu Dev Sai government is engaged in this work. BJP State media in-charge Amit Chimanani said that as per its promise, the Vishnu Dev Sai government first arranged for the pilgrims from Chhattisgarh state to visit Ram Lalla in Ayodhya and now has made excellent arrangements in the Chhattisgarh pavilion for the pilgrims taking bath in the Mahakumbh. On going to the Mahakumbh, the pilgrims are staying in that pavilion for free and are getting food prasad and also enjoying the satsang, this is the good governance of Vishnu.
