Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated the two-day Chintan Shivir organized at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Raipur today. Chief Minister Sai, Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Saw and Vijay Sharma and other cabinet colleagues are participating in the Chintan Shivir. The first session was addressed by NITI Aayog CEO BVR Subramaniam. In his address, Subramaniam shared his views in detail about the concept of developed India and the strategy to achieve it. He said that in the last ten years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has progressed rapidly and has been successful in making its place among the major economies of the world. Prime Minister Shri Modi has resolved to make a developed India by 2047 and a strategy has been made to achieve it.
In his address, Shri Subramaniam said that Prime Minister Modi emphasizes on scale, speed and innovation. In view of the changing international scenario and time, the vision of developed India has been prepared so that India can make its special place. He said that now the eyes of the world are on the Global South. Now the vision is to look from West to East and India is capable of fulfilling these possibilities. India’s demography, India’s strategic position and the rapid reforms in India have made India ready to move forward in this direction. Whether it is digital economy or tax reforms, India has been a leader in promoting innovation and these have to be increased rapidly in the coming times. We have to work for a developed India to bring prosperity to all. In view of problems like climate change, we have to work towards sustainable development by promoting green energy. He said that when we move with a vision, we naturally get a guide map and we keep moving forward in accordance with it. Shri Subramaniam said that Chhattisgarh will play an important role in fulfilling the resolution of a developed India. Chhattisgarh has immense possibilities for becoming a developed state and for rapid development and by moving forward in this direction, Chhattisgarh will play an important role in fulfilling the goal of a developed India along with its development.
All the ministers, while participating in the dialogue, told about the policies being made in Chhattisgarh in this regard. Along with this, they also put forward their queries before Shri Subramaniam on which a meaningful discussion was held keeping in mind the objectives of developed Chhattisgarh and developed India.
It is worth mentioning that in this two-day Chintan Shivir, meaningful discussions are to be held for the vision of Chhattisgarh. Along with this, various topics including sustainable use of resources and convergence of schemes will be discussed.
