Chief Minister Sai attended the Gaurav Diwas Mahasammelan of Chhattisgarh Nagavanshi Samaj
Raipur 26 December 2024: Our country and society should always move forward with progressive thinking, the new generation of the society should progress in the field of education, move towards entrepreneurship, for this the society should constantly be aware and encourage the youth. Our illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi always emphasizes on this unity. If we all remain united and determined to serve Mother India, then our state and country will be strong. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said this while addressing the Chhattisgarh level Nagavashi Samaj Mahasammelan organized in village Ghughri of development block Bagicha of Jashpur district today.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that brave sons of tribal society like Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Gundadhur, Rani Durgavati, Veer Narayan have worked to liberate the country with their bravery. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the celebration of Janjati Gaurav Diwas has been started to spread the pride of these great personalities of the tribal society among the people and to increase their respect. He said that to bring forward the contribution of these martyrs lost in the pages of history, a memorial dedicated to tribal warriors is being built in Nava Raipur. It will also describe the 13 great battles fought by the tribal public heroes of Chhattisgarh. On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai announced Rs 50 lakh for the construction of a social building in Ghughri, construction of a bridge in Khada Nala, renovation of the diversion scheme in Dhorki and construction of Mangal Bhawan at a cost of Rs 1 crore in Bagicha. Fulfilling the long-awaited demand of the Nagavanshi community, he provided community forest rights lease to preserve their Devbhoomi in Ghughri. Along with this, the Chief Minister provided caste certificates to 40 children who were deprived due to quantitative error. In the program, Chief Minister Sai prayed to Lord Mahadev-Parvati and Nag Dev, the deities of the Nagavanshi community, and wished for happiness, prosperity and well-being for the people of the state.
Recalling Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the program, Chief Minister Sai said that it was he who first created the Tribal Welfare Department for tribal welfare and upliftment. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, PM Janman Yojana is being run for the upliftment of special backward tribal people, through which work is being done for the welfare of the people of special backward tribes, who are considered the adopted sons of the President, through electricity, water, ration distribution, housing, health, Ayushman card making etc. Sarguja Development Authority Vice President and MLA Pathalgaon Smt. Gomti Sai said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, the double engine government has doubled the speed of development of the state. Continuous work is being done by the Chief Minister of our tribal society for the upliftment of the tribal society. Sitapur MLA Ramkumar Toppo, District Panchayat Vice President Upendra Yadav, public representative Krishna Kumar Rai, President of Nagavanshi Samaj and a large number of dignitaries were present in the program.
