Instructions to monitor the distribution of textbooks through ‘online tracking app’
Raipur, 31 December 2024: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has instructed the officials of the Education Department to ensure the distribution of quality free books to all the students of the state within the time limit in the upcoming academic session. He has said that the distribution work should be monitored through online tracking app so that the students can get the textbooks within the time limit.
The Chief Minister gave these instructions in the 89th meeting of the Executive Assembly of Chhattisgarh Textbook Corporation held at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan today. Similarly, he directed to purchase cover paper and inner paper and other tenders for printing free textbooks through Gem portal. Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary of School Education Department Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi, Secretary to Chief Minister Mukesh Bansal and Basavaraju S., Managing Director of Textbook Corporation Sanjeev Kumar Jha were also present in the meeting.
