Road asphalting will soon be done in Maitri Nagar, Sunder Nagar from the 15th Finance Commission funds for Rs. 32 lakhs. Raipur – Under Raipur South Assembly constituency, under Zone 5 of Municipal Corporation Raipur, Pandit Sundar Lal Sharma Ward No. 42 in Maitri Nagar will be asphalted with the sanctioned cost of Rs 21 lakh 60 thousand and Rs 10 lakh 40 thousand in Sundar Nagar main gate road, thus in Ward 42, road asphalting will be done soon at the sanctioned cost of Rs 32 lakh from the 15th Finance Commission. In Maitri Nagar, Raipur South MLA Sunil Soni in the presence of Ward Councilor Mrityunjay Dubey, Mandal President Mahesh Sharma, social worker Ms Manisha Chandrakar, Ramkinkar Pal, Bajrang Temple priest Pappu Maharaj, local resident Zone 3 Zone Commissioner Vivekanand Dubey, Zone 5 Commissioner Vimal Sharma, Executive Engineer Anshul Sharma, Lal Mahendra Pratap Singh, dignitaries, social workers, women, youths, common people, started the new development work of road asphalting in front of the road tarring machine by breaking coconut and using a hoe. South MLA Sunil Soni said that when he was the mayor of the city, he worked with a long term vision, the road should be durable, after construction the road should not have to be dug for drains, cables, pipelines etc. He worked with clear intentions and got the Raipur Jal Avardhan Yojana of about 1113 crores from the Center to be a permanent solution to the drinking water problem of the city. If the schemes are brought and implemented properly, the citizens get its benefits for a long time. Raipur South MLA Sunil Soni praised the working style of councilor Mrityunjay Dubey and said that Mrityunjay Dubey has always stood for the development of the city and the welfare of the citizens as a councilor for 20 years. He has contributed to the rapid development of Sundar Nagar.
Councilor Mrityunjay Dubey said that the public support received by MP Brijmohan Agarwal and MLA Sunil Soni in the elections is a guarantee of the rapid development of Raipur South and Pandit Sundar Lal Sharma Ward. At present, road asphalting works worth about Rs 4 crore are being carried out on about 15 km of road in Pandit Sundar Lal Sharma ward. For the last one year, the pilot project of covering the drain on Lakhenagar to Raipura road is in progress under the central scheme. The pilot project of covering the drain is being done in only 8-10 wards of Raipur Corporation, which includes Pandit Sundar Lal Sharma ward. At the same time, under the Amrit Mission scheme, the work of laying pipelines in about 65 km area in the city has been done. Immediately after the Bhoomi Pujan today in Maitri Nagar and Sundar Nagar, the work of road asphalting has been started with the road tarring machine. For this, the councilor thanked the Raipur South MLA on behalf of the ward residents.
