Raipur 28 March 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today attended the Gondwana Social Marriage and Maha Sammelan organized in Balodabazar and blessed 44 newly married couples and wished them a happy married life. The event was held with traditional Gondi customs in the new agricultural produce market complex under the aegis of Adivasi Dhruv Gond Samaj, Khallari Mahakaleshwar. Chief Minister Sai started the program with the worship of Lord Budha Dev and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. He said that events like mass marriage promote social unity, cooperation and sanskars. These are not only financially helpful but also set positive ideals in the society.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai provided a cheque of financial assistance and necessary wedding material to the newly married couples under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana. He blessed each couple and wished them a happy and prosperous married life. On this occasion, he said that the aim of the government is not only to provide assistance, but also to participate in social responsibility. This scheme has emerged as a support for economically weaker families, so that they can conduct marriages according to their traditional customs with dignity. New initiative in the field of education: MoU for coaching On this occasion, an MoU was signed between the district administration and the Nuvoco Cement Group with the aim of providing better facilities to the students of the district for preparing for competitive examinations. Under this, students will be provided the facility to study in advanced coaching institutes outside the district. Talented persons doing excellent work for the society were also honored in the program.
Chief Minister Sai counted the achievements of the government Chief Minister Sai said that our government has fulfilled most of the promises by fulfilling the guarantee of Modi ji. He said that 18 lakh new houses have been sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Women are getting economically empowered through Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Senior citizens are getting the opportunity to go on a free pilgrimage through Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana. Chief Minister Sai, while sympathetically considering the demands of the Gond community in the program, announced Rs 20 lakh each for the construction of community halls in Balodabazar and Khallari-Suhela. Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma, MLA Tuleshwar Netam, District President of Gond community Bhagbali Dhruv and many public representatives also addressed the program. On this occasion, District Panchayat President Akanksha Jaiswal, District President Sulochana Yadav, Municipal Council President Ashok Jain, Dr. Sanam Jangde and Lakshmi Baghel, K.P. Pradhan, Anand Yadav, Vijay Kesarwani, Collector Deepak Soni, Senior Superintendent of Police Vijay Agarwal, officials of Gond community and a large number of common people were present.
