Chhattisgarh Tourism Board’s initiative for the disabled
Raipur 26 February 2025: Chhattisgarh Tourism Board has started a special initiative so that Divyangjan can easily roam around the tourist spots. Under this initiative started with the name “Yatra Aapki Suvidha Hamari”, now special ramp routes are being built at all the tourist spots of Chhattisgarh. Through this ramp route, the disabled will be able to easily go to the respective tourist spots and roam around easily. Not only this, wheelchair facility will also be made available in the resorts of the Tourism Board in all the tourist spots. So that they can easily roam around in the nearby area. According to the officials of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, a special ramp ramp route has been built in Mainpat. Divyangs can easily walk on it. Similarly, ramp routes are being built in other tourist places as well. This special initiative has been taken for the disabled, so that their number can also increase among the people visiting tourist places.
Booking facility from helpline along with online
Divyangjan can see the beautiful places of Chhattisgarh with their family or friends. Both types of facilities are being provided for this. If the disabled want, they can also book online or booking facility is being provided by calling on the helpline number of the Tourism Board. Discount up to 30 percent to the disabled The Tourism Board has also started a special discount for the disabled. 30 percent discount will be given on showing the disability certificate during booking. This discount will be given only in the resorts run by the Tourism Board. These include special places like Bilaspur, Mainpat, Bastar, Korba, Sirpur. The facility available during booking will be given to the disabled only for a single room.
