Special backward tribe children will now get better facilities for studies

Raipur 5 January 2025: To connect the children of special backward tribes living in the forest areas of Gariaband with the mainstream of development, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai laid the foundation stone of 4 new hostel buildings under the special scheme of the Central Government ‘PM Janman’ during his stay in Gariaband today. These hostels will be built in Dhawalpur, Jidar, Jugaad and Peeparchhedi. An amount of Rs 10 crore has been approved to complete these hostels.
It is noteworthy that the Kamar special backward tribe resides in the forest Gariaband district. These hostels are being constructed under the PM Janman Yojana to connect the children of these classes with education. This will bring continuity in the studies of the children of these classes. Along with this, they will also be able to build a better career. These hostels to be built under the PM Janman Yojana will be fully equipped. A library and computer room will also be built in these hostels.
