The Chief Minister inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth Rs 141 crore

With the basic mantra of Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas-Sabka Prayas and Sabka Vishwas, it is the responsibility of every citizen to constantly monitor the development and construction works of his area and contribute to building a developed state of Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said this while addressing the inauguration-foundation stone laying program of development works worth Rs 141 crore organized in village Jugera of Balod district today.

Chief Minister Sai said that our government is committed to providing good governance to the last person by focusing on education, health, irrigation resources and maintenance of roads. What has been called Ram Rajya in ancient Indian texts is good governance. The sun of good governance has risen, all this has been possible due to your love and immense public support. We are confident that your trust will remain unwavering. Together, we will make developing Chhattisgarh a developed Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Sai said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream is that no Indian will sleep under the open sky. Every citizen will have a concrete house. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for construction of houses with concrete roofs, more than 31 thousand families have been benefited in Balod district. More than half of these houses have been built. The rest are being constructed. He congratulated and wished the beneficiaries who have entered the new house.

Chief Minister Sai inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of various development works worth Rs 141 crore in a program organized in village Jugera of Balod district. On this occasion, he also announced the construction of a 400-seater auditorium in Balod and construction of a dome set to expand the facilities for visitors at Banjari Mata Temple in Jugera. The Chief Minister said that Nalanda campus will be constructed in Balod soon, its approval has also been received. He praised Veena Sahu, a resident of Jamruwa village of Balod, who is serving as a Lieutenant Nursing Officer in the Indian Army, and wished her a bright future.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that there are a large number of tendu leaf beneficiaries in Balod district, in their interest, we have increased the rate of tendu leaf purchase by an additional Rs 1500 per standard sack and ensured purchase at the rate of Rs 5500 per standard sack. We have performed Bhoomi Pujan for the repair and reconstruction of the lining of the canals of Matiyamoti reservoir of Doondilohara development block. This canal, which will be constructed at a cost of about Rs 30 crore, will provide sufficient water for irrigation to the farmers.

The Chief Minister said that about one and a half lakh farmers of Balod district have benefited from the Krishak Unnati Yojana. An amount of Rs 686 crore has been transferred to their account for the paddy sold in the Kharif season in 2023-24, which has brought prosperity to the farmers. Farmers have become prosperous. We believe that when our Annadaatas are happy, everyone’s life will be happy. We have also given the amount of Rs 223 crore outstanding bonus in the accounts of more than one and a half lakh farmers in Balod district last year.

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said that there will be no shortage of money for development works in the government of Vishnu Dev Sai with Modi ji’s guarantee. MP Bhojraj Nag also addressed the program. A large number of dignitaries were present on this occasion.
