Raipur. On the occasion of Rajyotsav in the capital Nava Raipur, the State Decoration Ceremony will be organized on 06 November. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao today informed about the names of the personalities to be honored in the State Decoration Ceremony in a press conference held at Mahant Ghasidas Museum in the capital Raipur. He informed that persons making outstanding contributions from various fields of Chhattisgarh will be honored with Chhattisgarh State Decoration on 06 November by Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar.
Governor Shri Ramen Deka will preside over the ceremony. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh will be present as very special guests. At the State Decoration Ceremony and the closing ceremony of Rajyotsav, various personalities of Chhattisgarh will be honored with State Decoration for their achievements and contribution to the development of the state.
Martyr Veernarayan Singh Award for the upliftment of tribal backward classes by Tribal Welfare Department will be given to Mr. Butlu Ram Mathra. Yeti Yatanlal Award in the field of non-violence and cow protection given by General Administration Department will be given to Mr. Manohar Gaushala Khairagarh, Gundadhur Award for outstanding performance in the field of sports by Sports and Youth Welfare Department will be given to Ms. Chhoti Mehra, Maharaja Pravirchand Bhanjdev Award for outstanding performance in the field of sports (archery) will be given to Mr. Vikas Kumar. Similarly, the Women and Child Development Department will give Minimata Award to Smt. Parvati Dhidhi in the field of women empowerment, Veerangana Rani Avantibai Lodhi Smriti Award for empowering women’s valor, courage and self-confidence to Smt. Aditi Kashyap and Mata Bahadur Kalarin Award for fighting against oppression of women and women upliftment to Kumari Chitrarekha Sinha, Guru Ghasidas Award in the field of social awareness and Dalit upliftment by Tribal Welfare Department to Shri Rajendra Rangeela (Gilhare), Thakur Pyarelal Award in the field of cooperation by Cooperative Department to Shri Shashikant Dwivedi.
Similarly, the General Administration Department will give Pandit Ravishankar Shukla Award for remarkable work in social, economic, educational field to Shri Umesh Kachhap, the Culture Department will give Pandit Sundarlal Sharma Award for excellent work in the field of Hindi literature to Dr. Satyabhama Adil, the Culture Department will give Chakradhar Award in the field of music and art to Pt. Shri Sudhakar Rambhau Shevlikar. Dau Mandraji Award given by the Culture Department in the field of folk art and crafts will be given to Mr. Pandiram Mandavi. Laxman Masturia Award for Chhattisgarhi folk song will be given by the Culture Department to Mrs. Nirmala Thakur (Belchandan) and Khuman Saw Award for Chhattisgarhi folk music will be given to Mr. Dushyant Kumar Harmukh. Dr. Khubchand Baghel Award in the field of agriculture will be jointly given to Mr. Shivkumar Chandravanshi and Mr. Khemraj Patel by the Agriculture Department. Maharaja Agrasen Award for remarkable work in the field of social harmony will be given to Mr. Siyaram Agarwal by the General Administration Department. Danveer Bhamashah Award in the field of charity, harmony and exemplary assistance by the Social Welfare Department will be given to Mr. Subhash Chand Agarwal. Mrs. Bilasabai Kenwatin Matsya Vikas Award for excellent work in the field of fish farming will be given to Mr. Vinod Das by the Fisheries Department.
Bhanwar Singh Porte Award given by the Tribal Welfare Department in the field of service and upliftment of tribals will be given to Mr. Sonau Ram Netam. Maharaja Ramanuj Pratap Singhdev Award in the field of labor will be jointly given to Surendra Kumar Rathore, Shri Shobha Singh and Shri Lalit Kumar Nayak by the Labor Department. Pandit Lakhan Lal Mishra Award in the field of crime investigation will be given to Shri Ramnaresh Yadav by the Home (Police) Department. Bisahudas Mahant Award in the field of weavers will be jointly given to Shri Pannalal Devangan and Shri Bahori Lal Devangan by the Village Industries Department. Rajrajeshwari Karunamata Handloom Promotion Award in the field of weavers will be jointly given to Shri Satyanarayan Devangan and Shri Arun Mehar by the Village Industries Department.
Devdas Banjare Memorial Award in the field of performing folk arts by the Culture Department to Shri Bhagat Guleri, Devdas Memorial Panthi Dance Award in the field of folk style Panthi dance by the Culture Department to Shri Sadhe Lal Ratre, Kishore Sahu Award in the field of creative writing, direction, acting, screenplay, production in Hindi-Chhattisgarhi cinema by the Culture Department to Shri Prakash Awasthi, Kishore Sahu National Decoration given by the Culture Department for direction in Hindi-Chhattisgarhi cinema will be given to Shri Satish Jain.
Dhanwantri Award for remarkable work in the field of Ayurveda medical education and research will be given to Dr. Manohar Lal Laheja by the Health Department. Barrister Thakur Chhedilal Award for remarkable work in the field of law by the Law and Legislative Department will be jointly given to Shri Surendra Tiwari and Shri Prakash Chandra Pant. Culture Department will organize awards for social welfare, human resource development outside the country.
