Finance Minister OP Choudhary Launches ‘Mahatari Shakti Loan Scheme’

Raipur 30 November 2024: Finance Minister  OP Choudhary launched the Mahtari Shakti Loan Scheme from his residence office. State Rural Bank Chairman Vinod Arora was also present on this occasion.

Finance Minister Choudhary expressed happiness and said, “This scheme is an important step towards economically empowering mothers and sisters.”

State Rural Bank Chairman Arora said that under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, sisters who have an account in the Gramin Bank and in which the amount of Mahtari Vandan Yojana is deposited, will be provided a loan of up to Rs 25 thousand for self-employment without any formality.

The Mahtari Shakti Loan Scheme launched by the State Rural Bank aims to make women of rural areas self-reliant and promote their economic empowerment. This scheme will not only provide financial help to women but will also help them in providing a strong base to their family and society through self-employment.
