Light of development is reaching villages through Niyad Nella Nar Yojana

Raipur 16 March 2025: Light of development has started reaching villages through Niyad Nella Nar Yojana, launched on the initiative of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai to provide basic facilities in Naxal-affected villages. Under this, 75 houses of Tekalgudiyam village of Niyad Nella Nar Gram Panchayat Pentachimli under Purvarti Camp of Konta, the last block of Sukma district, have started shining with the light of electricity for the first time after independence. New light has come in the lives of the residents there. Under the government’s Niyad Nellanar scheme, electrification has been completed in this area, which will now make the life of the people here easier. Executive Engineer of Electricity Department Jekerketta and his team had a special contribution in the successful implementation of this important project. He worked with full commitment and hard work to bring electricity to the village. This was a historic moment for the people of Tekalgudiyam, who were deprived of basic facilities for years. When electric bulbs were lit for the first time in the village, happiness was visible in the eyes of the villagers.

The Chhattisgarh government is rapidly carrying out development work in remote and Maoist-affected areas. Apart from electricity, work is being done to provide basic facilities like roads, water, education and health to every village. This initiative proves that development is not limited to cities, but rural and sensitive areas are also being given its full benefit. The villagers of Tekalgudiyam say that now they will also be able to join the mainstream of development. Local administrative officials also assured that other necessary facilities will also be provided in the village in the coming time.
