Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sao Inaugurated The State-wide Beneficiary Survey Of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban 2.0

Raipur : Beneficiary survey work under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban 2.0 has started from today. Under this, the urban homeless of the state will get their own permanent house. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao inaugurated the state-wide survey work at Swami Atmanand School Daupara Mungeli, located at the district headquarters Mugeli. Earlier, he reached the house of Dhannu Nirmalkar and Sujit Peters in ward number 16 of the district headquarters Mungeli and conducted the beneficiary survey and got their form filled for PM Awas. The program was started by lighting a lamp in front of the photograph of Mother Saraswati. On this occasion, Deputy CM Shri Sao, while addressing the program, said that today is National Tribal Pride Day, Guru Nanak Jayanti, Dev Deepawali and Kartik Purnima and today in the first phase, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban 2.0 was launched to provide permanent housing to the people deprived of housing. I congratulate and wish all of you for this. He said that no eligible person will be deprived of the housing scheme. The dream of a permanent house for the urban poor will now be fulfilled. He said that when the son of a poor mother becomes the Prime Minister of the country, how he worries about the poor, there can be no bigger example of this than the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Every person dreams of having his own permanent house. He can live a respectable life in a permanent house with his family. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken the initiative to make this dream of the poor come true. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, work of development is being done in the state. He directed the officials to conduct the survey work of the beneficiaries of the urban area seriously. Also, he appealed to the beneficiaries to participate in maximum numbers and take advantage of this scheme and fulfill their dream of a permanent house.

Collector Shri Rahul Dev said that not only Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban, but also Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural is doing better work in the district. As per the wishes of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, continuous work is being done to add the names of those who are deprived of the housing scheme. He assured that the entire team of the district administration will make the dream of every poor come true. It is a matter of good fortune that the state-wide launch of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban 2.0 is being done from the district. He assured for better implementation of the scheme. The program was also addressed by Nagar Palika President Shri Santulal Sonkar and Vice President Shri Mohan Mallah.
SUDA CEO Shri Shashank Pandey said that in the first phase under the Rapid Assessment Survey, the applications of such beneficiaries received in the last 02 years under PM Awas Yojana Urban in the body, who have not got the benefit of the housing scheme, those beneficiaries will be contacted and their details will be recorded on the unified web portal. After the completion of the first phase, in the second phase, camps will be organized at major places of the city and applications will be received from the interested beneficiaries and their details will be recorded on the portal. After the first and second phases, intensive door-to-door survey will be conducted under the body area. Deputy CM handed over keys to PM housing completed beneficiaries, felicitated school students

Deputy CM Shri Sao handed over keys to Kunti Yadav, Durga Nirmalkar, Kanti Yadav, Nirmala Yadav and Nisha Sarathi on completion of housing construction work under the first phase of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and congratulated them. Along with this, he felicitated the school participants who secured first and second positions in the essay competition organized on November 14 under Tribal Pride Day, including Ms. Sweety Patle, Kajal Patre, Deepali Rajput and Aryan Kulmitra.
