Jagdalpur 21 December 2024: Collector Haris S inspected three plantation centers of Darbha block on Saturday. He discussed with the Horticulture College, Field Officer regarding all the works and necessary arrangements of Darbha Coffee Plantation as well as discussed with the farmers doing coffee plantation. He took information about the work done by MNREGA in the plantation. He also inspected the coffee plantation area of Kandanar and discussed with the villagers. He directed to reconstitute the committee formed in the village for coffee production by holding a meeting in the presence of SDM and District CEO and keeping aware farmers in the committee. Also asked the farmers to cooperate in cleaning the plantation area and preserving the coffee plants. He said that the land is yours, you will also benefit if the coffee crop is harvested. He also discussed with the villagers about the requirements of the plantation.
Apart from this, he also reviewed the coffee plantation of Mundagarh and discussed with the villagers. Apart from this, the villagers of Urugpal also presented the necessary demands of the village to the Collector. On this occasion, CEO District Panchayat Ms Pratishtha Mamagai, along with officials of District Panchayat and Janapad Panchayat, officials of Horticulture College were present.
