Raipur. A large number of common citizens met Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai at his camp office today who reached his native village Bagiya to celebrate Diwali festival and wished him Diwali. The Chief Minister welcomed all the people and met them with warmth. Beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana also reached Bagiya camp office to meet the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister met them and wished them Diwali gifts. The beneficiaries also presented paddy ears as gifts with full respect to the Chief Minister with the wish of happiness, prosperity and well-being. On this occasion, the Chief Minister bought diyas and urns from Mrs. Tilaso Bai, a beneficiary of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Mrs. Tilaso Bai has not only got a permanent house, but she has also been provided an electric wheel by the Mati Kala Board. She prepares items like diyas, urns, pitchers with this wheel and sells them in the local market.
Mrs. Tilaso Bai, Navita Pankra, Amrita Bai, Rajni Chauhan, Kumari Shashi Chauhan, beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana who came to meet the Chief Minister, expressed their happiness on getting the house and thanked the Chief Minister. During this, Collector Mr. Rohit Vyas, Superintendent of Police Mr. Shashi Mohan Singh were present.
Electric wheel speeds up work, increases income
Mrs. Tilaso Bai, a beneficiary of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, has been provided an electric wheel under the Kumbhakar Terracota Yojana by the Mati Kala Board. She said that after getting the electric wheel, her work has become much easier and work has also started happening at a faster pace. She said that she makes diyas, chimneys, piggy banks and other things from clay. Her goods sold well during Diwali. This has also increased her income. She said that there is a lot of demand for the goods made by her during Diwali. With the help of electric wheel, she is able to work faster.
