Raipur 25 December 2024: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today paid homage to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee by offering flowers on his photograph on the occasion of his birth anniversary at the Chief Minister’s residence. MLA Purandar Mishra was also present on this occasion. Chief Minister Sai said that 25 December is the birth centenary of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, the creator of Chhattisgarh state. Recalling the role of Atal ji in the formation of Chhattisgarh state, the Chief Minister said that revered Atal ji, respecting the sentiments of the people of Chhattisgarh, formed the state of Chhattisgarh with the aim of development of Chhattisgarh and prosperity of the people here.
Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is working very fast towards fulfilling the dreams of Atal ji. We have decided to celebrate this silver jubilee year as “Atal Nirman Varsh” in the memory of Atal ji, under which priority will be given to the works of infrastructure development in the state.
