Raipur 23 November 2024: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai inaugurated the Sports Complex in Bilaspur today. It has been constructed by Smart City Limited in Sanjay Taran Pushkar campus at a cost of Rs 14 crore 60 lakh.
During this, Chief Minister Sai tried his hand at table tennis, squash and badminton with Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao in the sports complex. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai expressed happiness over getting the facility of more than one sport under one roof and also wished the players for their bright future. During this, Chief Minister Sai met the players and trainers of various sports in the sports complex.
There is a provision for basement parking, reception on the ground floor and operation of restaurant in the three-storey sports complex in Bilaspur. Its first floor has facilities for sports like badminton, squash court, table tennis, snooker, billiards. The second floor has multipurpose hall and yoga facilities. This sports complex is an important step taken to realize the concept of Bilaspur as a metro city where a fully equipped club has been established for fitness and entertainment along with sports spirit for the citizens.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Union Minister of State and MP Tokhan Sahu, MLA Takhatpur Dharmjit Singh, Bilaspur Amar Agarwal, Bilha Dharamlal Kaushik, Beltara MLA Sushant Shukla along with many public representatives and a large number of citizens were present.
