Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today worshiped the cows in the Gaushala of his residence on the occasion of Govardhan Puja and fed them Khichdi and Jaggery with his own hands. On this occasion, he wished the people of the state happiness, prosperity and well-being and wished them a Happy Govardhan Puja. During this, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Sports Minister Shri Tankaram Verma were present.
The Chief Minister said that Govardhan Puja is a holy day to express gratitude towards the cows. I pray to Lord Shri Krishna and Gau Mata that this folk festival of love for nature and charity brings happiness, prosperity and well-being for all. Cows are an important basis of agriculture and public life. Govardhan Puja is a festival of worshiping the cows as well as taking a pledge to protect and serve the cows.
The simplicity of the Chief Minister once again charmed everyone
When the distribution of prasad started after the worship of the cows, the Chief Minister Shri Sai first of all fed sweets with his own hands to Shri Bhagwani Yadav, a cow sevak serving the cows in the cowshed, and wished him Govardhan Puja. This simplicity and ease of the Chief Minister once again charmed everyone. The Chief Minister wholeheartedly praised the work of cow service being done by Shri Bhagwani. On this occasion, the Chief Minister appealed to all the people to become partners in the work of protecting, promoting and preserving the cows.
