Historical event at Bageshwar Dham: Marriage of 251 poor girls will be conducted by Bageshwar Dham

Raipur, 25 February 2025 – Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today attended the ongoing Shivratri Mahotsav and mass marriage ceremony of 251 poor girls at Bageshwar Dham. A unique confluence of religious devotion, social dedication and national unity was seen at Bageshwar Dham. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that Chhattisgarh is a land of saint tradition and religiosity. Lord Shri Ram spent most of his exile here. We are proud that we got the opportunity to participate in this divine event at Bageshwar Dham. He said that sanskar and culture are an important part of any person’s life. Resolution of Naxalism-free Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government is taking historic steps towards the elimination of Naxalism. With the support of the double engine government, it has been resolved that Naxalism will be completely eradicated by March 31, 2026. The security forces of the state are strongly engaged in this campaign, and under the leadership of Home Minister Vijay Sharma, this mission is progressing successfully.
Ban on conversion and Ghar Wapsi Campaign Chief Minister Sai said that to maintain the religious and cultural balance of Chhattisgarh, the government is also encouraging the Conversion Prevention and Ghar Wapsi Campaign. Recalling the contribution of late Dilip Singh Judeo Ji, Chief Minister Sai said that our government will adopt a strict policy against religious conversion and will connect the society with its original identity. New chapter of social service: Marriage of 251 poor girls There is special enthusiasm among the devotees about the mass marriage of 251 poor girls organized by Bageshwar Dham. In this event, the marriage of the girls will be performed as per Vedic rituals, all the newly married couples will be provided with complete household items. A confluence of spiritual energy and social harmony, Chief Minister Sai said that this event of Bageshwar Dham is a historic opportunity to restore the glory of Sanatan Dharma, promote unity and harmony in the society and improve the future of poor girls. The Chhattisgarh government is feeling proud by participating in this event and is determined to contribute to such social and religious works in the future as well.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai is a man of simple nature – Baba Bageshwar praised Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai in the program of Pujya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri Ji Maharaj and said that the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh is personally present to complete this holy work. He is a man of very simple nature and is working for the benefit of every citizen of Chhattisgarh. A resolution has been taken to completely free the state from Naxal-affected areas within the next two years.
