Raipur 25 December 2024: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today attended the Atal Sushasan Chaupal organized at Saraitoli in Jashpur on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. On this occasion, he paid tribute to the revered Atal ji, the creator of Chhattisgarh, on behalf of the people of Chhattisgarh. Recalling his contribution in the creation of the country, the Chief Minister said that the silver jubilee year of Chhattisgarh will be celebrated as ‘Atal Nirman Varsh’. During this time, infrastructure development works will be done on priority. He said that our state Chhattisgarh is his gift. He said that Atal ji always remained firm on his values and principles. Today his birth anniversary is being celebrated as Good Governance Day in the entire state. Chief Minister Sai said that Atal ji believed that if Chhattisgarh is formed, then this region will develop rapidly. The residents and tribes here will get better opportunities to move forward. Their progress will be strengthened. The Chief Minister said that in accordance with the wishes of Atal ji, the state government is fulfilling the dream of building a prosperous and developed Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is continuously working to fulfill Modi’s guarantee in the state. Paddy is being purchased at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal and 21 quintals per acre. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, an amount of one thousand rupees is being given to 70 lakh mothers and sisters every month through DBT. Along with Ramlala Darshan Yojana, now Tirtha Yatra Yojana will also be started soon. The rate of tendu leaf collection remuneration has been increased from Rs 4000 to Rs 5500. CBI has started investigation of CGPSC scam. Continuous action is being taken against the people involved in it. This has restored the trust of students on CGPSC.
Chief Minister Sai said that the administrative system is being made more smooth and transparent. Good Governance and Convergence Department has been formed for good governance. A decisive battle is being fought to end Naxalism in Bastar. The state government is working with commitment for the development of all sections of the society in the entire state.
Pathalgaon MLA Smt. Gomti Sai said that the people of Chhattisgarh, along with the entire country, are very grateful to Atal Bihari Vajpayee for his contribution. He gave us the gift of a separate state in the form of Chhattisgarh. Today, the double engine government in Chhattisgarh is rapidly advancing development works. We have fulfilled most of the promises of Modi’s guarantee in one year. Chief Minister Sai announced several development works in Saraitoli. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai announced the opening of a branch of Apex Bank in Farasbahar for the convenience of the farmers of the area. Along with this, other development works including construction of a suspension bridge on the lines of Laxman Jhula from Kotaibira to Kapatdwar were announced.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai inspected the stalls set up by various departments at the Atal Sushasan Chaupal and provided assistance to the beneficiaries and assistive devices to the disabled. While giving registration certificates to fishermen cooperative society and milk producing cooperative societies, he wished them for their bright future. The Chief Minister distributed Pay-KCC cards by Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Bank and also provided motorized tricycles, National Family Assistance Amount and certificates of disabled scholarship to many beneficiaries. He also encouraged disabled children to study well. He honored health workers who did excellent work in the field of health. Along with this, he presented a cheque of Rs 80 thousand to Maa Tarini Self Help Group and Rs one lakh to Jai Maa Ambe Self Help Group through Chhattisgarh Mahila Kosh. On this occasion, many public representatives and villagers including Smt. Kaushalya Devi Sai, Rohit Sai, Bharat Sai were present in large numbers.
