Chhattisgarh Is Getting Full Support From The Central Government Due To The Formation Of A Double Engine Government: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai

Raipur 6 January 2025:  Respected Atal ji has created the state of Chhattisgarh and our resolve is that we all will together improve Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh is getting full support from the central government due to the formation of a double engine government. Recently, the central government has approved several rail projects along with road and air connectivity. He said that our government has completed most of the works of Modi’s guarantee in just one year. In the sequence of Sabka Saath-Sabka Prayas and Sabka Vikas, the wheel of development is now moving fast in Mahasamund district. Development will accelerate further in the coming times. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said this while addressing the inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan program of various development works in Mahasamund today.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 419 development works worth Rs 217 crore 17 lakh. These include inauguration of 335 works worth Rs 111 crore and Bhoomi Pujan of 84 works worth Rs 106 crore. Materials worth about Rs 1.25 crore were distributed to 271 beneficiaries in the program.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, while addressing the program, said that Prime Minister Modi had guaranteed approval of 18 lakh houses for the poor. Fulfilling that, on the second day of oath, our government approved housing for homeless beneficiaries. Approval of three and a half lakh more houses will be received now.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, while addressing the program, said that there are immense possibilities of tourism in Mahasamund district. The ancient city of Sirpur and Devadhishdev Lord Gandeshwarnath Mahadev are famous all over the country. We are making rapid efforts to include Laxman Temple in the list of World Heritage. Kodar reservoir is being developed in the field of eco tourism. At the same time, work is also being done towards beautification of Shishupal mountain.

Chief Minister Sai said that we have laid the foundation stone for road widening and bridge construction from Baronda Chowk Mahasamund to Bamhni, the main road of Mahasamund district headquarters. Now traffic will be easy on this route. Similarly, the foundation stone has been laid for widening the Mahasamund to Tumgaon-Achhola road and construction of Saat Mahtari Sadan. Our government is continuously working towards providing better health facilities. Mahasamund has secured the top position in the state in the Nikshay Niramaya Chhattisgarh Yojana. Mahasamund has secured the first position in Chhattisgarh by making 292 Gram Panchayats out of the total 551 Gram Panchayats of Mahasamund district TB free. Central Library is being constructed in the heart of Mahasamund. Synthetic track has been constructed for the players. In this way, work is being done for the intellectual and integrated development of the youth.

Chief Minister Sai said that our government is buying paddy from farmer brothers at the rate of 21 quintals per acre and Rs 3100 per quintal. On the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister revered Atal ji, Good Governance Day, as per the guarantee, we have also paid the farmers the outstanding paddy bonus for two years. He said that this year the rains have been good as well as the crop has also been good, this year 160 lakh metric tonnes of paddy is expected to be purchased.

He said that the state government is sending the devotees of the state to visit Lord Ram by launching the Ramlala Darshan Yojana. So far, 20 thousand Ram devotees have got the benefit of Ramlala Darshan. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, we are paying one thousand rupees per month to more than 70 lakh mothers and sisters of the state. More than three and a quarter lakh mothers and sisters of Mahasamund district are getting the benefit of this scheme.

MP Mrs. Roopkumari Chaudhary, Mahasamund MLA Yogeshwar Raju Sinha, Basna MLA Sampat Agarwal also addressed the program. A large number of common citizens including local public representatives were present on this occasion.
