Chhattisgarh government signs MoU with NASSCOM, investment in skill development will increase
New Delhi, March 26, 2025- Chhattisgarh will soon emerge as an IT and technology hub. An important agreement (MoU) has been concluded between the Chhattisgarh government and NASSCOM, which will increase investment in skill development in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai met NASSCOM Vice President Srikant Srinivasan and other representatives at the Investors Connect Meet and underlined the immense possibilities of the state in the field of skill development. He said that Raipur is such a major city in the country, where there are major educational institutions like IIT, NIT, AIIMS and Triple IT, which are preparing skilled youth according to the needs of the industries. Naya Raipur is being developed as an IT hub, where many IT companies have started their work. The government is committed to make Naya Raipur a major tech hub on the lines of Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Under the new industrial policy of the government, IT and startups will get special encouragement, which will increase employment opportunities in the state. Through the skilling program, college students will be trained as per the industries so that they can be prepared for employment. Chief Minister Sai informed that till now investment proposals worth Rs. 4 lakh 40 thousand crores have been received, which shows the success of the state’s industrial policy. During this meeting, the positive response received in the investors meet held in Delhi, Mumbai and Raipur was also discussed.
