Arvind Kejriwal, AAP Promise Rs 1,000 Every Month For Delhi Women, Delhi Assembly Elections

New Delhi:

Aam Aadmi Party boss Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday announced a new scheme for women – the deposit of Rs 1,000 in bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries. This will be increased to Rs 2,100 after the Delhi Assembly election in February – assuming the AAP retains power in the national capital – he said.

Mr Kejriwal also slammed the BJP, saying he wanted to implement this scheme in March – when he was still the Chief Minister – but “they conspired and sent me to jail (in the alleged Delhi liquor policy case)”. “After coming out of jail, I worked with Atishi ji so this scheme could start.”
