Raipur, 21 February 2025: Under the Agristack scheme, a digital database of farmers across the country is being prepared by the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. Under this, 2.64 lakh farmers have been registered in Chhattisgarh so far and 2.63 lakh farmers have been issued Kisan ID. Balodabazar, Kondagaon, Gariaband Balod and Mahasamund are among the top five districts in registering farmers under this scheme in Chhattisgarh.
Farmers have to get separate KYC done to avail the benefits of every government scheme. After registering once in Agristack, the entire database of the farmer is ready.
